We just got back from the lake of the Osarks where my parents have a house. What made it so special was that my brothers and their families were there too. Jack, Becky and Presley from St. Louis, Steve and Sandy (and soon to be baby girl) from So. California and the Kostrzewas from New Orleans. All gathered at the best kept secret: mom and dad's lake life. Seriously, they have this great boat that we took many trips on and a beautiful house right on the water. It was a wonderful trip. The only hard part was knowing that trips like these only happen at most once a year. Having family all over the country can be hard because I enjoy them so much. Good thing I took a lot of pictures.
Admiring my mom's decorating skills. This room: nautical.

Sporting "lake hair" all week
Such a great family photo. Avery had an allergic reaction to Aveeno baby sunscreen so she's all red and blochy. The lake has a rule that anyone under 12 has to wear a life jacket at all times on the boat, so Eliza is wearing an infant one. Here I'm trying to keep the pads from her face. If this were the only photo you saw, you'd think we weren't having a great time. Let this not fool you. It is however the only family of 4 photo we have from the trip.

Um, not too sure about this.
Avery, want to swim in the lake? (She did eventually and it was awesome, but the first day Cheerios won that battle.)
