a better day

Something told me to do it when I was getting Avery dressed this morning. I spent most of my college days wearing t-shirts that I most likely painted stencil letters on with some statement because, hey, I was that person in college paired with a long skirt. I'd even add a zip up hoodie, but still wear my ragged hemp rainbows. I was a mess. But today I saw this combo of "t-shirt meets skirt" and I knew Avery was destined to pull it off. Everything about today was better, because of this pink skirt.

 Gluing my face to the TV to watch Monkey George (curious george, duh)- better in a pink skirt

 Lunch at the island- better in a pink skirt

Finding President Taft in a book and saying, "TAKE A BATH, TAFT"-better in a pink skirt

Test drive your friend's scooter- better in a pink skirt

Wave to mama- better in a pink skirt

Play with the chickens- you guess it. better. 

Ohhh, and yes, she's representing Detroit. Seeing how Ken is from Detroit (kinda) I'm going Tigers for this series, even though I'm in love with San Francisco.
