52 weeks (or one year)

She did it! Eliza Page made one year this past Thursday and we are just over the moon with her. So excited to see her grow up and become this sweet little girl. She was a great baby and folded into our family just perfectly. We love her personality and the way she smiles when she sees Avery. They were meant to be sisters.

I'm pretty please with how this photo project turned out. Some weeks I missed, but it's great now to look back and remember how tiny she was and fun things that we've been able to do in her first year. Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we?

The tinniest little peanut, when the nickname started- just under 8 lbs here.

This was taken the day after Hurricane Issac passed and Eliza slept for 12 hours through the night! This is when we realized we were blessed with a sleepy baby. This is when she started smiling nonstop. Despite not having power in the heat of August, she did a mighty fine job.

Here she is lying on my Mardi Gras cape in her Halloween costume. Easily the cutest little monkey there ever was.

 First Christmas, our bright light.

First Mardi Gras parade that she walked in, St. Anne. Hopefully with many more in her future.

Celebrating Dr. Seuss by showing a love of books, just like her sister.

 Just cute.

And if that wasn't enough, let's just quickly look at all of them!

Sweet Peanut, Eliza Page- we adore you.
Thanks for a great year, and we can't wait to see the girl you're going to become!
Let's not have any tantrums, okay?

Now, time to party!
