For our first Valentine's Day, Ken planned a weekend getaway to Natchez, Mississippi. We have heard good things about this place from some friends and we love to explore new places, so this place was ideal. Ken told me to pack an overnight bag for the weekend and he didn't reveal to me our destination until we hit the road. Pretty precious. We stayed at the Eola hotel in the downtown, just off Main street. This town reminds me of that song, "Wink and a Smile" where the lyrics say, "I remember the days, of just keeping time, of hanging around in
sleepy towns forever... back roads empty for miles." It was a great weekend. My husband is great. Hope your Valentine's Day was lovely!
